What we offer at Langley Threads
One-on-Ones- This is an individual lesson with a sewing instructor. This type of lesson is great for those who have projects in mind they would like to learn how to make and come with a plan in mind. Open to all ages.
Pairs- This is an individual lesson with 2 students and a sewing instructor and is structured in a similar way to a one-on-one. Open to all ages.
Group Class- This is a one time class where up to 8 participants work on one project all together. There are specific “adult” classes and “kids” classes.
Kids Sewing Club- This is a semester long program that runs from August-December and January-May. Registration opens one month before. Classes happen weekly and occur on the same day and time each week for 1 hour and 30 minutes in length. At the end of the semester, a fashion show is held to showcase the projects worked on.
Adult Sewing Club- This is a monthly group class that meets every Tuesday at 10am each week. During the month, we work through one project.

My name is Hannah Rice and I started Langley Threads in 2021. What first started out as an ethical clothing business, has shifted into teaching others how to sew and sharing my passion with others.
Langley Threads Sewing Studio is a place to learn to sew, make mistakes, and develop a wonderful skill. Whether you are a beginner or advanced, I’d love to sew with you and create a beautiful piece that you love!
