Learn to Sew

Sewing is such a great skill that is rarely taught anymore and with just a few lessons, you can be on your way to repairing clothes, making projects, and bringing back to life a forgotten skill. Join us for a group class to work through a specific project with others.

Sewing Classes Details:

  1. New Classes are posted on the 15th of each month.

  2. We have several categories of classes. If you are new to sewing, look out for the following categories.

    1. Total Beginner- You maybe know how to threads a machine and sew a straight line but maybe not much more than that.

    2. Confident Beginner- You have completed several simple projects and are comfortable on a sewing machine. You are familiar with seam allowance, hemming, using a sewing gauge, simple sewing construction, etc.

    3. Easy Intermediate- You are ready to advance your sewing skills by learning about things such as buttons, zippers, darts, etc.

    4. Intermediate- You have made your own clothing or more advanced sewing projects and are ready to learn about getting a great fit on your clothing and maybe even adjusting a pattern.

    5. Advanced- You are ready for the more difficult projects such as making jeans and tailored jackets. Long sewing projects don’t scare you.

  3. Once a sewing lesson is booked, it is not refundable, but it is transferrable to another person. Thank you for understanding!
